Relocation: Travel and relocation expenses are authorized. Eligibility for specific relocation services will be determined at the time of selection. However, use of Relocation Services Contract (Guaranteed Home Sale) will not be authorized.
Telework: Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework only during an emergency or natural disaster.

This position requires completion of a one-year probationary period.

Travel is required approximately 5% of the time.
Operation of a government vehicle is required; therefore, you must possess and maintain a valid State’s driver’s license.

How You Will Be Evaluated
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.

1. Ability to do the work of a journey Level control operator at a hydro-electric power facility without more than normal supervision. (screen out)
2. Knowledge of Power Plant Operations.
3. Ability to interpret and apply drawings, instrucitons, manuals, specifications, etc.
4. Knowledge of technical practices in safety requirements, clearance and emergency control procedures.
